Lexiscript Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lexiscript, a privacy scanning service at lexiscript.jaytechkenya.com. Lexiscript is sold and operated by JAYDEE INNOVATION HUB, a registered business at Heshima Road, Nairobi, Kenya (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or paying for Lexiscript, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Lexiscript scans the website you submit, records the cookies, scripts and trackers it loads, maps them to the privacy laws for the regions you choose, generates draft privacy notices and consent settings, and provides a consent widget you can add to your site.

2. Plans and prices

• Free (launch offer): scan your storefront and read the full report, with no card required. We will give notice on this page before the launch offer ends; scans already in your dashboard stay available.
• PRO: KES 2,500 per month, billed in advance each month until cancelled. Includes automatic monthly re-scans with the report emailed, published notices, the consent widget and an audit trail.

All charges are in Kenya Shillings (KES). Amounts shown on our website in other currencies (such as US dollars) are for guidance only, based on live market rates; if you pay with a foreign card, your bank or payment provider converts the KES charge at its own rate, which may differ. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing the price of an active subscription.

3. Delivery

Scan results are delivered to your Lexiscript dashboard, usually within minutes of starting a scan. PRO access is activated immediately on confirmed payment. If a PRO feature is not active within 24 hours of payment, contact support@jaytechkenya.com and we will fix it or refund that payment.

4. Payment, renewal and cancellation

PRO renews automatically each month. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are not refundable for the current billing period. Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days to the original payment method. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for your business.

6. Acceptable use

You may only scan websites that you own or are authorised to manage. You must not use Lexiscript to scan third-party sites without permission, to overload or attack any system, to resell the service without our agreement, or to break any law.

7. Not legal advice

Lexiscript is a triage tool. Its findings and generated notices are starting drafts, not legal advice or a certificate of compliance. You remain responsible for your own compliance, and you should have notices reviewed by qualified counsel for your jurisdiction before relying on them.

8. Your data

You keep ownership of your website content and account data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability

We work to keep Lexiscript available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance or change features, and will tell you in advance of any change that materially reduces the service you pay for.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, Lexiscript is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or regulatory fines or penalties.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is not paid. You may close your account at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows the current version, and we will notify subscribers by email of material changes.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
